When traveling...always go as FAR as you can as SOON as you can!

CONTEXT...
If you want to be a "professional traveler," the number one rule of thumb is... GO AS FAR AS YOU CAN AS SOON AS YOU CAN!
When bad weather hits, or a plane is delayed, many travelers "retreat" and "wait" for the "perfect option". They might go home and fly the next day. Or they might wait for a later flight that has a First Class Upgrade. The harsh reality is that you never know what might come next -- another storm, another mechanical problem, or more.
I've traveled more than 7,000,000 miles for work and pleasure. And, in 23 years, I missed ONE meeting because of travel delays even though I live in a place where blizzards are common and flights are few. When you are trying to go from "HERE" to "THERE"...and your plans are disrupted...our "Plan B" should be to take the first option that gets you closest to your destination.
